The 1st race of the series of TopRC Challenge Tolmin 2014 is behind us. On 30th March the Modeltek Challenge was held on the beautiful track in Tolmin.
There were more than 50 drivers present and the atmosphere was just perfect: there was Saturday free practise combined with free tutorials in the evening and the support on team drivers on the event. On Sunday there were 3 qualifying rounds and A,B finals.

In 1/10 Touring Stock 13.5T class it was a clear dominance of Jan Popič (XRAY T4) in front of Luka Ĺ kolaris and the 3rd placed Stanislav Kokol (XRAY T4). Jan won all the finals with a big margin.

1/10 IC Touring class was a fight for 1st place between Stefano Missio (Serpent) and Stefano Chiarandini (Capricorn). At the end Stefano Missio won in front of Stefano Chiarandini and in 3rd position there was Vladimir Knehtl. After having some problems Fabio Callegari (XRAY NT1) finished just outsied the top 3.

1/8 IC Track class had a lot of happening during the A final as many drivers had some technical difficulties. At the end Najc Mihelič proved to be dominant taking the win in front of Ronald Riegler and AnĹľe Černe. Simone Feliciani (XRAY RX8) was fighting for the final podium place till the end, but unfortunatelly some difficulties ended his chances.
